Sneak Peek - Birthday Portraits in Boise

This little miss is super special to me - I've done her newborn, 5 months(Christmas), 9 months (Easter) and now her First Birthday Portraits! Sadly, the family is moving to another state, and I am so sad - I'll miss them!

I took sooo many today at our session, that picking just a few for a peek was impossible! So, here is a slideshow.

Tomorrow I have a newborn session so I'm super excited about that! I'm also going to a Birthday Party - we're going to see the movie "Up!" :-)

Tea Party Fun - Boise Tea Party Portraits

Today we had a Tea Party! It was so much fun! Many thanks to everyone for coming :-)

We had fun with our bears, dollies, and loveys at the tea party table and pretending! We also heard a Fairy Story from Princess Brittnie and played Ring around the Rosie! We also got to have Cream puffs, eclairs, strawberries and apple juice for a picnic.

The response to my Fairytale Portraits has been phemonenal! I love doing them, it's my lifes dream to be able to do something like this! Both dates this summer filled up so fast, that I get emails and calls daily asking me "When is the next one???!!!"



A new date is in the works, but in case you didn't know - you can host your OWN Fairy Event! Here's the Scoop:

Cost: $99 on a Weekday or Sunday Morning , $159 on a Saturday

For: Up to 5 girls (1-10)

What do you get?: Each girl will be photographed individually and in whatever
groups wanted. The Session lasts for about 1.5 hours. Each girl receives a complimentary 5x7 portrait (of them individually), and I will provide goodie bags. Special print pricing is also available.

What do you need to do?: The host needs to invite the friends to come (If you invite 5 and only 2 come, the price is the same. You might consider "going in" on this with 4 friends and making a playdate out of it.) You will need to provide snacks and drinks for your guests. (It's summer, we need refueling!!)

Barter! - Boise Idaho Photographer

Recently, I worked out something with a client to trade "Barter" portraits of her children for manicures and pedicures. It was a win-win situation - she gets portraits of her kiddos, and I get some much needed pampering! I'm also sharing the pedicures with my Mom, and my amazing assistants - Lori, Pamela, Teresa and Krista! They work for photos!

I've also bartered with people to get props I wanted or needed - This bench is the result of that!







So, think you might have something I'm interested in, ask me! We can barter for just about any service or item I can provide! Here's my short list of things I am looking for:

Fairytales and Daydreams Event - June 20th 2009 - Boise Fairytale Portraits

Fairytales and Daydreams Event - Sneak Peek! - Idaho Fairytale Photography

Wow - what a day! I had the best time today photographing all of these little fairies, pixies and sprites - they ranged in age from 9 months to 9 years old! I know all of the families are dying for a peek, so here you go - in no particular order my favorites of each girl individually!










































I also had so many adorable sibling/cousin/friend images that I'll have to do a post just with those soon! All Fairy galleries will be complete by May 25th.

Now, I am going to rest for the rest of the weekend and spend time with my Mommy! Happy Mother's Day!

Sneak Peek - Child Portraits in Boise Idaho

This little guy is so funny - he loves puppies, and looked at me like I was crazy when I started barking to get his attention. He also loved watching the goose we found at the Train Depot - it was so cute. I must have took 75 photos of him running away from me, but that's okay, there are lots of cute smiling ones too!

Sneak Peek - Boise Newborn and Family Portraits

This family is so sweet :-) Big sis is just the most adorable little girl, and such a proud sister! After doing the Maternity session in February, I couldn't wait to see their new additon.



I couldn't believe the amount of smiling he did at only 16 days old!!






I just love sibling portraits, especially with newborns.
