Sneak Peek - Newborn Portrait Photography in Idaho

I'm a little behind on sneak peeks - sorry!

This family came in again to finish up our newborn session - little guy is just so sweet, and the other kids are so special to me too.

Sneak Peek - Boise Baby Portraits

I was so excited to see this little darling again - I had the best time doing her newborn portraits , and Mom's maternity portraits, that I knew it would be fun! It was a beautiful day and we had some fun at the park with Mom and Grandma!








This is one of those photos where I say I have "ESPN" or clairvoyance..lol. I already had the new poofy tutu with me, and surprise, they brought this adorable ladybug with them! It was *meant* to be!



In other news, my studio looks like a tutu factory exploded - prep for the "Fairytales and Daydreams" Event on May 9th! I can't wait! and remember, You can host your own Fairytale event with your friends! I am doing a Tea Party Event this weekend for a little girl and her classmates, it's going to be so much fun :-)

If you had a time that you wanted me to "HOLD" and I didn't hear back from you, I had to give it to someone who was waiting.

Shady Lane Studios is would like to invite you to a magical land of Fairies, Pixies and Sprites!



Introducing "Fairytales and Daydreams" - Fairy Portraits in the Park!

All girls will be photographed in one of a kind fairy outfits with props in an outdoor setting by Award Winning Photographer Lauren Harms. All participating girls will receive a Complimentary 5x7 Portrait and a special gift.Additonal Portraits will be available to purchase.

When: May 9th 10am-3pm - (see below for times - You must schedule an appointment time when you RSVP.If you have 1-2 girls, schedule 1 time slot, if you have 2-4 girls, schedule 2 back to back.)

Where: Boise, ID (you will receive directions when you RSVP)

Who: Girls 2-8 years old. We can photograph 9 months and older and girls older than 8but you need to let us know in advance so we can make sure we have costumes to fit.

Cost: There is no charge for this event if you have not been to one of our events before. If you have,there is a $15 session fee per girl.

Sneak Peek - Boise Newborn Twins Portraits

They've arrived! I was so excited to meet them - what angels! They were just the sweetest ever! Of course, it was 90 degrees in the studio, and myself, Mom and Auntie must have lost 10 lbs each, but the babies were snuggly and sleepy!

In other news, I'm taking a few days "off" to rest and catch up on sneak peeks and galleries.The only kind of sessions I will be accepting will be newborn sessions, of course.

Sneak Peek - FairyTale Portraits in Idaho

I spent most of last week photographing some sweet Fairies, Pixies and Sprites! I had some new costumes to try out, and all of these darlings did such a good job!

All of these costumes fit girls 2-8 years old - I am also making some more and will take requests! Note: Most that are labled "Pixie" or "Sprite" do not have wings, but some do.

Sneak Peek - Child Portraiture in Meridian

I was in total heaven today - I got to do portraits of adorable kiddos, in adorable outfits.. OUTDOORS! and I didn't even have to wear a coat! Yay! Some of my faves:

Sneak Peek - Child Portraits in Boise

I love seeing the same kiddos - they grow so fast! This little miss is one of my favorites to photograph - full of personality! This is the Third time I've gotten to photograph her, and the 2nd (unless you count maternity photos!) time I've seen little brother.







While we were taking photos, we had this conversation:

Me: You're a goofball
her: NO I'M NOT!!
Me: Okay, sorry. Are you a Princess?
Her: YES I AM!

Okay, I had to include this one because I think it's funny!
